Preview: "Friesland: Drift" on ZDF

In "Friesland" (ZDF), a university professor is found dead in the Ems River. Das Erste broadcasts the "Beatrice Egli Show" with numerous musical guests. On ProSieben, "Black Panther" (ProSieben) fights for the future of his country.
While freediving in the Ems River, Wolfgang Habedank (Holger Stockhaus) accidentally discovers a corpse. Investigators Süher Özlügül (Sophie Dal) and Henk Cassens (Maxim Mehmet) try to determine how the university professor died. They receive assistance from pharmacy employee Melanie Harms (Tina Pfurr), who discovers that the water in the dead man's lungs cannot have come from the Ems River. Furthermore, a head injury suggests violence. Soon, everything points to Lars Schäfer (Sebastian Tessenow) being murdered.

Their trail leads to Eva Boverla (Kathrin Wehlisch), the uncompromising CEO of "Baraqua," who is apparently working to secure the water monopoly in Catalonia.
